typing this entry is making me feel like eating some of that. was in school for a proj meeting. and next door in the seminar room, there was this event that involved refreshments. And it so happened that the time i was wanting to go and pee was the time when the people just started to attack the refreshments. This is a bit of some conversations i caught, on the way to the pee-room.

Asian lady/usher: (heavy singaporean/singlish accent) Oh, please help

yourselves to the refreshments.

caucasian guy: what's this? (pointing)

Asian lady/usher: we call this 'soon kueh'. It has a covering made of rice flour.

the filling is steamed tulips.

caucasian guy: oh really?
