My brother and i were stuck behind in the Kangoo while my mum and my sis figured the road out. (that's what we're always like when Dad's not around. We're lost) And my brother had just invested in his first tech toy. The Nintendo? I think so. It's this white, sleek looking thing. And he was appalled that i didn't know of it.

me: so how do u play it?

bro: there, u press the button and the person will walk

me: ok. (and the "person" walks)

so what happens now?

bro: like that lor. When u run into someone, u can fight him. just keep pressing that button.

me: so how is this intellectually challenging?

bro: it's not.

Today i went to support my church teens in their band competition. it's like a rock band thing. They go through 4 months of practice with a group of experienced musicians, and at the end of it, they compete for a cash prize of $500.

They call themselves Rubberband. haha. I love the name. They didn't win. But i think they were the best band. Really. and i'm being objective. =)

We basically sold the stuff in our wardrobe that we don't want anymore. I also sold some stuff which my friends didn't want. I only made $100. And i also got myself stuff too! Shoppergirl needs to shop at every available opportunity. heh.

Every Wednesday night, a bunch of young working professionals gather in Spottiswoode park for cell. hehe. We begin with dinner. And obviously, underaged people are welcome too.
